Camp Covington 2026: Mission Possible is a dynamic five-week summer program designed to offer students an immersive experience that combines academic support, health and wellness activities, and enrichment opportunities beyond the traditional school year. With a focus on creativity and problem-solving, the camp integrates these themes across all areas of learning, including reading/ELA, math, science, social studies, health and wellness, and more. Students will engage in hands-on projects, explore real-world applications, and develop critical thinking skills in a fun, interactive environment. In addition to academic learning, the program includes field trips to broaden students' perspectives and collaborates with community partners to offer a variety of enrichment activities that foster personal growth, creativity, and teamwork. Camp Covington 2026: Mission Possible invites students to detect new knowledge, decode exciting challenges, and discover fun learning adventures.
The FREE program is open to ALL COVINGTON INDEPENDENT PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES K-5 IN FALL 2026.
Camp Covington at the elementary level includes the Me & My School program for incoming kindergarten students. This portion of Camp Covington is designed to prepare students for the upcoming school year and is held at the school where students will attend kindergarten. The program aims to familiarize students with their new environment, provide opportunities to meet teachers and staff prior to the start of the school year, and introduce students to essential routines and expectations.

MIDDLE

With a focus on creativity and problem-solving, the camp integrates these themes across all areas of learning. *Students participating in Summer School (credit recovery) or the specialized EL Camp or Honors Biology Camp at Holmes Middle School, must also complete the Camp Covington registration form.

HIGH
(STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 9-12 IN FALL 2026)
The Holmes High School STEAM & Makerspace Camp is an engaging three-week summer program designed to immerse students in hands-on, project-based learning that integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Utilizing the school’s new makerspace, students will explore innovative activities such as robotics, engraving, coding, and digital design while also participating in creative arts experiences including painting, clay work, sewing, and multimedia exploration. Each project is intentionally aligned with academic standards and college and career readiness goals, encouraging students to apply critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation in meaningful ways. The program emphasizes both individual creativity and teamwork, providing opportunities for students to design, build, and create while developing practical technical and artistic skills. The camp will culminate in a STEAM & Arts Showcase, where students present their projects to peers, families, and staff, celebrating their creativity, growth, and accomplishments. Through this immersive experience, students gain technical skills, build creative confidence, and explore real-world STEAM and arts applications as they learn to create, design, and innovate.

HOW TO EARN ENTRIES
Students earn entries for the drawing by attending the program:
1 entry for each day attended
+10 bonus entries for perfect attendance
The more days a student attends, the more chances they have to win!
HOW WINNERS ARE SELECTED
Site Finalists
Each program site will hold a drawing to select one finalist from the students attending that site.
Finalists will be selected from the following for a total of 7 finalists that will advance to the final drawing:
Each elementary school site
The middle school program
The high school program
Final Drawing
All 7 site finalists will be placed into a final drawing.
From that group, two students will be randomly selected to win a $500 Apple gift card.
