Out-of-School Time

COVINGTON COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTERS

Out-of-school time (OST) programming (also referred to as Community Learning Centers or CLC programming) includes structured academic, enrichment, youth development, and health and wellness programs for students before school, after school, and during summer. Programming includes opportunities for academic remediation and acceleration (STEM, reading intervention, etc.), enrichment activities (culinary, creative and performing arts, etc.), social development (teambuilding, gardening, board games, storytelling, etc.), and health and wellness (Girls on the Run, MMA, dance, etc.) beyond the traditional classroom setting.

Programming is made possible through 21st Learning Community Learning Center grants and other grant funds and collaborations with partners such as Partners for Change.
