About Mr. Linforth 

Hello! My name is Jeff Linforth and I am the Fitness Center / HS Health teacher at Cove School.  24/25 will mark my 9th year at Cove and I couldn't be more excited to be part of this amazing staff. I also team teach parts of the Physical Education curriculum as well as coaching some awesome athletes on our various teams.  I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green!) with a degree in Economics and then received my Education degree from North Park University.  My wife is a 4th grade teacher and I truly thank her for showing me how awesome it is to teach every day! My three children are Maggie, a special education teacher who graduated from Illinois State University, Jack, an Athletic Trainer at Vanderbilt University, and Ellie, an ICCU critical care nurse in the University of Wisconsin Medical System. I'm a life long Chicago sports nut making it to as many games as possible! I currently umpire IHSA High School and D3/JUCO baseball.  I also referee IHSA basketball and last year was honored to be a part of the referee crew to work the Illinois Special Olympics State Championships. My puppy is Moose!
