The intent of homework is to improve student retention of mastered skills and overall performance. Teachers will work with parents/guardians and individual students to assure that the Homework Policy is effective for each child.
- Daily homework should reinforce skills that have been taught at school.
- The teacher and the needs of the student will determine the amount of homework for grades K-3. Parents/guardians should expect approximately 30 minutes of homework.
- Students in grades 4-8 may have approximately 60 minutes of homework daily.
