Common Core Standards

The ELA curriculum at Coventry High School is fully aligned to the Common Core State Standards.  These CCSS provide a set of learning goals for students in the areas of reading, writing, and oral communication.

The curriculum in grades 9 & 10 English courses are based on a span of goals for students in this age range while students in grades 11 & 12 English courses are subject to a different span of goals.
