In short, classical Christian Education is both a philosophy of education and its accompanying methods that seeks to develop a child's intellect (knowledge and reasoning) and their character grounded in Christian virtue and a biblical worldview.
This training and development of the child occurs along the stages of the Trivium. Each part of the Trivium, the Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric stages, generally corresponds to a child's age of development. Each stage has a focus and methods that solidify a student's grasp of facts and concepts, their ability to think logically and reason, and finally, to develop and cogently communicate their thoughts about what they have learned.
There are many great online resources for learning about classical Christian education in more depth, and we would be glad to talk with you more about it as well.
