Courage & Grace Learning Center began with a simple question: Is there a better way to meet the educational needs of children and families?
Founder Jessica Bartholomew spent years working in public education, where she witnessed both the incredible potential of students and growing challenges facing traditional educational models. At the same time, she watched her homeschooled nieces thrive, discovering a love of learning while building meaningful family connections. Inspired by their experience, Jessica envisioned a learning environment that combined strong academics, hands-on experiences, and the flexibility families need to thrive.
As she shared her vision with her sister, the dream began to take shape. Soon, their mother, a former public-school teacher, joined them in bringing the idea to life. Together, three educators spanning two generations combined their experience and passion for helping children learn with confidence and joy.
To ensure the mission remains focused on serving families and the community, Courage & Grace Learning Center was established as a nonprofit organization and is overseen by a Board of Directors that provides accountability, guidance and long-term stewardship.
In 2024, the planning began, and in the fall of 2024, Courage & Grace Learning Center opened its doors in New Braunfels, Texas, serving learners ages 5-14.
Today, we partner with families to provide an engaging, Christ-centered educational experience that nurtures academic growth, character development, and a lifelong love of learning. Our mission is simple: to cultivate the courage to learn and the grace to grow.
