Who is it for?
Students in Year 9 or 10 or S3 or S4 who are interested in exploring a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)
All you need is an interest in STEM and curiosity about the future and is open to all academic abilities
What is involved?
Approximately 20 hours of study virtually
Exploring different Routes into a STEM career including College Courses, University Courses, Apprenticeships and learning from industry what is involved in a STEM career as well as enhancing your skills
The course includes live interactive sessions throughout the duration, allowing you to listen and ask questions to STEM students and professionals
Once you have been inspired by these different Routes you will get to work on a project set by a STEM company to look further at a career area that interests you

Starting Your Career in Real Estate
Do you have the curiosity and creativity for a career in the world of property?
FREE ONLINE COURSE
Open Online Course (OOC)
A three week online course designed by academics at Henley Business School, University of Reading for students to learn more about starting a career in property.
Date: Open now until the end of March 2020
Length: 3 weeks, requiring a total of 6 hrs of study
Venue: Online
Who: Open to all students in secondary education. Most appropriate for students in Year 9 and upwards
Cost: Nothing!
During the OOC:
Learn about key topics in the industry such as sustainability, globalisation and technology
Hear from people in lots of different roles in the industry and learn about what they do
Get support from course mentors; a combination of academics, industry volunteers and real estate and planning students
After the course: Upon completion you will receive a Certificate of Achievement for your studies – a great addition to a CV or UCAS application
