Bring Music into the Classroom!
Music therapy has the potential to positively impact student engagement, learning, speech and communication, behaviors, and movement using a variety of creative strategies. Families, teachers, and other school personnel have shared the positive impact that music therapy offers students. Incorporating music into daily classroom routines and lessons can make learning fun and support to a range of goals. A review of research was conducted that analyzed the implementation and outcomes of music therapy for students with disabilities. This website was created to assist all stakeholders that support students in k-12 schools by providing fun ways to incorporate music into classrooms. The website design was made simple to access and explore the many different links and resources to support students using music.
