Promotion of Family and Consumer Sciences

The Cotulla FCCLA chapter is focusing on the promotion of Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) by working on activities and projects to engage in the community. Family and Consumer Sciences are able to create leaders to enter the work force, and are able to help an individual develop feel prepared for life. 

• We allow the opportunity for all current FCCLA members to be able to perform CPR and First Aid training. 

• Members of FCCLA are able to improve their life skills, communication skills, and thinking skills through star events and projects. 

• FCCLA members host events so our FCCLA members and the community are able to engage with each other. 

• Early Childhood Education helps FCCLA be able to interact with children, helping them learn, and the members will be prepared for a possible future workspace.
