Metals Instructor at CVHS
As an educator at Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, I make my home in the neighboring community of Philomath, Oregon. My teaching approach is rooted in David Kelley's principle of "fail faster, succeed sooner" - embracing the idea that meaningful learning and innovation emerge through experimentation and iteration.
In both the classroom and my personal workshop, you'll find me exploring the possibilities of 3D printing, CAD/CAM design, and various maker projects. This passion for creating and problem-solving shapes how I approach education, encouraging students to learn through hands-on experience.
My adventures extend beyond the classroom - from chasing my two young boys around Philomath to running Dan's Trail in McDonald Forest and playing indoor soccer at Corvallis Sports Park.
