Over break maybe you can create something to send to Mrs. Slentz to give people in the ACTS Communities some smiles. I know you are a creative bunch and this is a great way to share your talents! This was in the Wednesday envelope.
Update Keep them coming! So far we received approximately 25 photos of pictures and cards. These have brought much joy to the residents at ACTS Communities. We would love to keep spreading cheer. Your kids can draw pictures, make cards, write messages or poems to the elderly, who are in the assisted living and nursing homes in the community. Coronavirus can live on paper for a few days; therefore, we are asking families to email pictures instead of sending hard copies. Mrs. Slentz, a member of our Corpus family who works for ACTS, has offered to post them on the in-house television and will have them scrolling on iPads for residents to see. She can then share them with other facilities in the community. The elderly will surely know that they are being thought of by the community around them! Please do not include photos of your children. If interested, please email directly to Mrs. Slentz at Kslentz@actslife.org.
Be the Body of Christ!
