The Corporal Freddie Stowers Distinction in Diversity Scholarship

Project developed to award a middle and high student practicing the skills of cultural intelligence and competency in daily life.

 LSN KIDS was established in 2007, turned 501c3 in 2011 with mission to encourage cultural intelligence in students through the arts, world language, and cultural literacy.  The Corporal Freddie Stowers Distinction in Diversity Scholarships are NOW OPEN for applicants.

Mission of the project

Our mission is to sustain a positive course of behavior in students dedicated to diversifying their knowledge and understanding of inclusivity.   The categories for this scholarship criteria appear below.

Scholarship Application

2023 Applications are now open! The scholarships will be awarded to a student in grade ranges 8-9 and 10-12.
Applications are due by May 26, 2023.

Awards Ceremony is Saturday, June 17, 2023.

To learn more about the specifications of the scholarship, review the scholarship application. One 8-9th grade student will receive an award of $350 and one 10-12th grade student will receive an award of $1,200.   

Relatives of LSN KIDS board members or employees are ineligible to apply.
