This site was developed as a Google Innovator project (see my video application below to better understand my original intent). This site is designed to be used by Middle School students, faculty, teachers to share Student Catalysts to be used by our community in our mentoring classes. The idea being that our student population spends time producing high quality work that could be used as discussion pieces or example pieces beyond the space that they were initially created in. Students may create a radio podcast interview with a guest speaker on climate change that could be used in a mentoring class looking at Change or challenges for the future. Students may create a short story about a specific Humanities genre but the topic could be useful to a teacher looking for examples of relationships for our Mentoring class. I initially wanted to create a website that would house this content but through time and interviews this prototype has been designed to offer a database and use Google tools to see how this might look for other institutions looking at using this idea in their educational spaces.
This site is a prototype design. Any feedback can be sent to mel.hamada@gmail.com .
