Round 4 K12 Strong Workforce Information Coming Soon
Application Support Flyer, Spring 2021
Career Center Resources (once a SWC ID has been assigned)
SWC has just launched MyPath! Students will now be able to interact with MyPath before starting the application process. MyPath is a guided pathway onboarding platform that addresses the falloff between applications received and student enrollment numbers by keeping students engaged with the college and guiding students through the onboarding process. The system is integrated with CCCApply and provides a customized guided pathway for students based on each student's CCCApply application data.
MyPath provides students with easy access to student support resources, career assessment tools, financial aid information, online orientation, and other resources that can transform their college experience. Students receive gentle nudges and reminders if they have stopped their progress along the path. MyPath is also integrated with SWC's single sign-on authentication, so it does not require students to remember a separate set of login credentials.
Process: Begin by visiting our main webpage (swccd.edu), click on on "Apply & Register." You will then be asked to choose between "Explore-Apply-Register" and "Apply-Register." Please note that students who will be joining SWC as a first-time college student (upon H.S graduation) should choose "Explore-Apply-Register," while CCAP, H.S Special Program, and returning students should choose "Apply-Register." The main difference is that those who choose "Explore,-Apply-Register" will be directed to MyPath (where they can then access the application), as opposed to those who chose "Apply-Register" who will be directed to the application webpage.
