Building creative, resourceful, and resilient students is essential for preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world. Creativity empowers them to approach challenges with fresh ideas, resourcefulness equips them to adapt and find solutions with the tools at hand, and resilience helps them persevere through setbacks and learn from failures. Together, these traits foster confident, independent learners who can navigate uncertainty, collaborate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Having moved here from Southern Wisconsin just over 2 years ago, it has been an absolute blessing to to be teaching Art at Cornell.
I currently live in the northern most part of Colfax with my husband and 2 teenage kids. We share 12 acres with our German Shepard dog, many ducks & chickens, and 2 goats. As an avid plant and animal lover, I find them often as inspiration for a lot of my art.
