Academic Background

Applied psychological and behavioral principles to law enforcement research, directly impacting Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) recommendations, guidelines, and training materials. 

Designed marketing and communication materials to promote engagement in computational research and Cornell Center for Social Sciences (CCSS) workshops. Produced short films showcasing CCSS fellows, staff, and computational social science workshops.

Assisted in creating and sharing novel and immersive storytelling experiences that engaged audiences by leveraging virtual reality technology with unique, DEI research-based perspectives. Wrote DEI-related scripts and also provided direction on set. Created DEI lesson plans and curricula.

2024 Conflict Management Best Student Paper Award Finalist for my paper titled, Justice Comes at a Cost: How Anticipatory Retaliation and Spillover Harm Shape Workplace Grievance Outcomes. 

The Graduate School Dean’s Scholars are nominated and selected scholars who have demonstrated academic excellence and strong potential to significantly contribute to Cornell’s founding principle of “… any person … any study” and core value to provide a Community of Belonging where scholars representing different backgrounds, perspectives, abilities, and experiences can learn, innovate, and work in an environment of respect.

I was awarded the 2020 Excellence in Leadership Award for Public Service. The purpose of the program is to recognize the accomplishments of UNC Charlotte alumni and friends who have achieved “excellence” in various areas. 

The mission of the Management & Organizational Behavior Teaching Society is to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the management disciplines. I was awarded the Doctoral Institute Scholarship, allowing me to attend the annual conference and gain additional training and mentorship in teaching management.

I was awarded a 2022 10 Under Ten Award. The purpose of the 10 Under Ten Awards is to recognize UNC Charlotte alumni who have graduated within the past ten years. Top candidates who will receive consideration are not only shaping what’s next in their professional careers but are also heavily involved in their communities through volunteerism and philanthropy, creating an impact.
