I am an NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at UC Berkeley. My research is in four-dimensional symplectic geometry, with a focus on symplectic embedding problems. My joint work on infinite staircases in Hirzebruch surfaces was featured in Quanta Magazine.
I received my PhD from Cornell University in 2024, where I was advised by Professor Tara Holm. Before beginning my PhD, I completed the Postbaccalaureate Program in Mathematics at Smith College.
At Berkeley, I have taught Metric Differential Geometry and Differential Topology. I am also committed to mentoring students and creating opportunities for them to engage with mathematics.
