This class expanded on my knowledge from the intro class, introducing knit programming and application on the computerized flatbed knitting machine (Shima Seiki). I continued exploring shaping on the hand machine, developing a collection of socks and mittens, which were fully fashioned on the Passap Duomatic 80. I explored quilt inspired fabrics and designed a drop sleeve sweater with my tubular jacquard design. 

This class was an introduction to machine knitting and hand machines. Using a Passap Duomatic 80, I explored color, yarn materials, and different fashioning techniques (short rowing and shaping). I created two swatch books and one final garment.
