Level 3 Designer; presenting my collection, "A Labor of Love", a combination of knitwear and quilt exploration.
"The Ringmistress"
Hand knit top made from Cascade Yarns Baby Alpaca. Circle skirt made from thrifted tablecloth. Machine knit wrist cuffs and crocheted mohair hair bow.
Spring 2024
As a Level 2 Designer, I was responsible for creating two looks under the theme Obscura, in relation to the camera. I chose to focus on the small hole in which light passes through, so I experimented with different pointelle and hole details to accentuate my designs. I added hand crocheted and machine knit accessories to complement the cut and sew garments, which feature many tie details.
July 2023
Over the summer I worked with a small fabric company in my hometown to sew garments to feature on their website. I was given this gingham stonewashed linen fabric to make something trendy and relevant for the summer selling period. I chose to make the Mave Skirt by True Bias, a three tiered skirt with pockets and an adjustable waist tie.
May 2022
I designed this dress around the sheer floral fabric I picked out, which I layered over a light green silk to create the floor length skirt. I created a self drafted bodice and added an adjustable corset closure in the back, as well as an off-the-shoulder sleeve detail to tie everything together.
