From 2021--2023, I was a part-time Writing Coach at OADI. I met with undergraduate students and work through all parts of the writing process with them, designing individualized exercises and support for each student. The OADI space is designed for underrepresented students in academia, who can hopefully feel seen and heard as they get the help and guidance they want.
Since 2020, I've been a graduate mentor in GSMU, a program designed to support undergraduate students’ paths through academic life. I meet with students in Pre Professional Programs (P3), McNair Scholars, and more.
Purdue University is built upon the traditional homelands of the Bodéwadmik (Potawatomi), Lenape (Delaware), Myaamia (Miami), and Shawnee People.
The Indigenous presence here, where I live and work, precede the establishment of Purdue University, Indiana State, and the United States of America.
