Printing from Laptop (Legacy Script)

1. Download, install, and configure the Cisco VPN software from CIT at this link:

1. Sign into your Cisco VPN client according to the instructions in the link above, except your username will look like this: <yournetID>@en-am-vpn-acad. The password is still your netid password.
2. If you are not in the en-am-vpn-acad pool, you will need to submit a ticket (https://help.coecis.cornell.edu/) requesting to be added to it.
3. After all of that, you will need to configure the printer and set it to print over port 9100 to the address cam-5130-01.cam.cornell.edu

My settings on a mac for adding the printer were:

Protocol: HP Jetdirect

Address: cam-5130-01.cam.cornell.edu

Queue: blank

Name: whatever

Location: blank

Print Using: Dell 5130cdn Color Lasar v3018.102 PS (Generic PCL Printer may work, but probably won't print in color)

Print a test page from your laptop to make sure everything is up and running.
