Bilingual Meetings
Bilingual Meetings
The Bilingual Meetings are online bilingual discussions (Portuguese and English) on books written by Black authors, focusing on ethnic-racial themes such as identity, representativity, racism, and resistance. Organized by Clube de Leitura Ubuntu, under the supervision of Professor Valquíria P. Tenório (Instituto Federal de São Paulo, IFSP-Campus Matão), and in collaboration with Professor Denise Osborne (Cornell University), the Bilingual Meetings welcome students from both institutions, as well as students and teachers from public schools in Brazil, to discuss and learn together through Black literature.
