I am currently a sophomore at Cornell University, majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in business. At Cornell, I am an active member of the Bonassar Group, a research team specializing in 3D bioprinting and cartilage-based research. I am eager to explore every opportunity that will deepen my knowledge in tissue engineering, with a specific focus on 3D bioprinting. However, I cherish each opportunity I get within the world of biomedical engineering and healthcare because of its ability to make me an engineer with a more diverse knowledge and skillset. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of treatments that can positively impact the lives of thousands of individuals. As a biomedical engineer, I aspire to be someone who creates innovative solutions, enabling healthcare professionals to help more patients than ever before.
In addition to my passion for science and my pursuit of a future in biomedical engineering, I am actively engaged in various extracurricular activities. I proudly serve as a Cornell Student Ambassador, connecting with new students, answering prospective student emails, and taking over the Cornell Admissions Instagram page. I also serve as a Peer Advisor for incoming engineering students. Furthermore, I am a member of Cornell's Society of Women Engineers, where I am part of the Faculty and Relations Board. Beyond my academic commitments, I am the President of the Cornell Ski Team, and I enjoy every opportunity to ski and play soccer whenever I can.
