What We Believe

As you can tell by our name, we're Presbyterian. This means we fall into the Reformed theological tradition. However, we are a diverse group of Christians with diverse beliefs. Our goal is to seek to understand the good news revealed in Jesus Christ and to live it out as best we can. If you'd like to know more about some typical Reformed beliefs, click here.

Highlights of Reformed Christian belief:

• God acts first. Whether it is what we believe about salvation or what we understand our mission in the community to be, we believe everything we do is a response to what God has done first.
• We believe that God is revealed to us in sacred scripture (the Bible), in the person Jesus Christ, and through the proclamation of the Gospel.
• We believe that the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most central belief of the Christian faith.
