is the name of our Newsletter here at Pakotai School

Mihi: 1. (verb) to greet, pay tribute, acknowledge, thank.

rau: 1. (verb) (-a) to put into, gather into, place into.

2. (numerical) Hundred.

Hundreds of acknowledgements.

Mihirau is also the name of an old paa site situated at the bottom of the righthand side of our maunga Te Tarai O Rahiri.
