John Sunshine’s Lost Rock 'n' Roll Tapes is a boldly dark comedic horror/fantasy series set in the 1970s and present day Pacific Northwest - as John Sunshine and his friends seek out obscure 1970s rock bands to interview in an attempt to be hired by CREEM Magazine.

Best friends since childhood, John, Gary, Tim, and Raffi have a friendship bond that defies normal rules - they literally go through Hell together. But is their bond just a collection of memories lived over and over again as they battle unknown forces as each interview takes them further and further down the road to ultimate destruction?

Each episode follows the boys as they descend into a fantastical and surreal world where abhorrent creatures emerge from the shadows. But that’s the least of their problems, as they’re pursued by a darker force, something that desperately wants John’s soul and will do anything and use anyone to get it.
