This class was focused on the sociology of the aging population in society. We were tasked with completing an oral history report on a "Senior Citizen" they had to be older than 65. With the oral history report we had to use the knowledge that we were learning in class and apply it to the report we were doing on our subject.

This class was focused on getting the freshman involved in the community of Fargo-Moorhead. However, you had to get involved in the communities of the minorities four different times during the semester and do a reflection each time. For the big project you had to interview someone who lives in the Fargo-Moorhead area and ask about their life growing up and describe how its changed moving to Fargo-Moorhead.

This class was an introductory class to the major religions around the world. You would spend a few days on each religion before moving onto the next. For the paper due at the end of the semester you had to choose something related to one of the religions covered in the class. I chose to do a paper on the Muslim Women and the ideals that they have to live buy.

This class was focused on the sciences behind our behaviors, specifically the neurological causes of the behaviors we experience. By the end of the term there was a paper that was due that had to be written off of a review article that you found interesting. I did my paper on Schizophrenia and the differences among men and women, if there were any.

This class focused on the Sermon on the Mount and Martin Luther. By the end of the semester you had to write a paper on something that was covered in class, whether it be the Sermon on the Mount, or Martin Luther. I wrote a paper on Martin Luther and his views on Vocation.

This class was focused on getting you involved with the literature from around the world. There were different novels that were read each week and by the end of the semester you go to choose your own book to read. For the literary analysis essay you had to choose one of the books that was read as a class and right on one of the topics that was covered in the class.
Spring 2020
This class was designed to get you familiar with the ways of treating patients with psychological disorders. You got to learn different methods of psychotherapy and how to use them in treatment. Then you got to practice on a classmate.
