Chromebook Management
1-1 Chromebook Initiative
All students in grades 3-12 will receive a Chromebook, a case, and a charger from the district.
Chromebooks are labeled and inventoried as the student's until a replacement is required.
Students are required to use their Chromebook as part of our Instructional Program.
Students must return Chromebooks when leaving the district.
Students in grades K-2 will have a Chromebook in the classroom.
Students are responsible for the care of their Chromebook, case, and charger.

Chromebook Agreement
Device Accountability
All Students are expected to follow the district Chromebook Agreement.
If a student does not return his/her Chromebook upon leaving the District, the student will be responsible for the full replacement cost of the device and accessories, and be subject to criminal prosecution or civil liability.
If a student returns his/her Chromebook damaged, costs for repairs are the student’s responsibility.
The district will charge for any needed repairs, not to exceed the replacement value of the Chromebook.
Please report any Chromebook problems immediately.

Chromebook Care Tips
Store your Chromebook in the case provided.
Insert cords, cables and removable storage devices carefully
Do not place heavy objects on the device
The computer should not be open when being carried.
Do not lift the device by the screen.
Do not store the device where other items can place pressure on the screen (e.g. backpack).
Clean the screen only with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or anti-static cloth. DO NOT USE CLEANING SOLVENTS OR OTHER LIQUIDS ON THE SCREEN.
Do not pick at the keyboard.
Be careful where you leave your Chromebook. Don't let it fall!

Students and Families are expected to sign our Chromebook Agreement and Computer Network & Internet Acceptable Use Policy every year.
