Building a Strong Attendance Team: This pathway helps district/school leaders and staff build an effective attendance team that reviews and analyzes attendance data, identifies the root causes of chronic absences, and designs and delivers interventions and supports for students and families. Data-Driven Attendance Strategies: This pathway helps district/school leaders and staff examine their data sources, organize and visualize the data, and effectively use it to inform multi-layered practices and support. Sessions will include specific evidence-based tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 strategies. Register here.

The MnMTSS Attendance Guidebook is now available for download. The guidebook itself is a summery of evidence based practices to support student attendance. It highlights key actions for district leaders, school leaders and teachers. It also contains a collection of resources that can support district and school leaders in implementing action steps. 

Many districts are leading critical work around attendance. COMPASS offers no-cost informal consultation to school leaders. Such consultation can be arranged for district leaders or small leadership teams at any time. Requests for this support can be sent to leah.gagne@brightworksmn.org.
