Good Morning,

This update is for our remote students.

  • Meals are available for curbside pickup at the main entrance of both middle schools and most elementary schools.

  • Breakfast and lunch will be served in a single bag.

  • Unfortunately, we are only able to offer a cold lunch at this time.

  • Pick up times vary by site, but will continue to be around the school lunch time.

  • We are working to shift these times to morning delivery within the month.

  • Food allergies must be documented by your physician and provided to the school nurse. Please contact your school office if you need the form.

The survey has been expanded to allow you to notify the kitchen of dietary considerations. You don’t need to complete the survey again if you have already completed the form and do not have dietary considerations.

Otherwise, please complete this survey.

Thank you,

Lori Schmidt, Business Administrator

Good Afternoon,

Meal service planning will evolve as we engage in the process of reopening district schools. Thank you for your patience as we are seeking solutions to accommodate the diverse needs of our students.

The USDA recently issued a waiver that allows us to serve meals to all students, for free, until December 31, 2020 or when the funding runs out, whichever comes first. We will continue to process Free and Reduced Meal Applications in case the funding runs out before December 31st. You can access this application at www.lunchapplication.com.

In-Person Students – The schools will collect the meal information each morning and forward the results to the kitchen.

Remote Students – Please complete this Google survey to request meals. The meals will be available for curbside pickup at your choice of community schools as noted in the Google survey. This survey is only for the first week of school and needs to be completed by 7:30 Tuesday morning.

More information will be provided on Thursday, September 10th, for the following week.

Thank you,

Lori Schmidt, Business Administrator
