General Resources

Google Classroom

Google Classroom is a free collaboration tool for teachers and learners.

Teachers create online classrooms and invite students to a class. They create and give out assignments and collect completed work. Learners and teachers can communicate about the assignments within the platform and teachers can monitor students' progress.

Parents and guardians can be invited to receive summaries that inform them of assignments, missed work, and upcoming work in a class.

Google Hangouts/Meet

Google Hangouts/Meet is a basic, free video conferencing tool for teachers and learners.

Teachers create links to online meetings that students attend for live instruction or virtual classroom discussions. Meet is fully integrated with the G Suite for Education, so students can join meetings directly from a Calendar event or email invite.
