Meal Services

Meal Services Continue During Remote Learning Conditions

April 13, 2020

Dear ConVal Families,

We are now able to deliver breakfast and lunch for free Monday – Friday for any child, up to 18 years of age, who resides in towns served by the ConVal School District! Please complete this form if you would like to receive these meals. This isn’t necessary if you already receive delivery.

Each child will receive a single bag containing both meals for the day. The delivery list is updated daily, but we have found that we often need a two-day lead time. This means that if I receive your survey by noon on Monday, your meal delivery will begin on Wednesday. In order to receive delivery on Monday, I will need to receive your survey no later than noon on Friday.

The delivery time frame for each community is as follows:

  • Antrim — 6:50 am - 7:50 am

  • Bennington — 6:45 am - 7:45 am

  • Francestown — 6:55 am - 7:55 am

  • Dublin — 6:55 am - 7:55 am

  • Greenfield — 6:50 am - 7:50 am

  • Hancock — 6:50 am - 7:50 am

  • Peterborough — 6:45 am - 8:00 am

  • Peterborough Pineview Apts — 7:00 am - 7:15 am

  • Sharon — 7:00 am - 8:00 am

  • Temple — 7:00 am - 8:00 am

Once this crisis is over, you may still need some assistance. Please apply for free or reduced meal assistance. If you qualify, you will retain the benefit through September. This also helps to increase funding the district receives for Title I services and rebates on certain technology needs. The application can be filled out online by accessing lunchapplication.com. If you prefer to print and mail the forms, the application can be found here.

For assistance with weekend meals, contact lcarac@yahoo.com with “ConVal End 68” as the subject. End 68 Hours of Hunger will provide food for two breakfasts, two lunches, and three dinners for each school-aged child in your household. The End 68 Hours of Hunger volunteers will be delivering two weekends worth of food every other week.

For access to the SMS Food Pantry, please email Judy Hertzler at jhertzler@conval.edu or send a text to (603) 582-0986 and use “SMS Food Pantry” in the subject line.

Please send questions or concerns related to the daily deliveries to me at lschmidt@conval.edu.

Thank you,

Lori Schmidt,

Business Administrator
