Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my website! 

I am Tiffany Legare and I am the Library Media Specialist at Hancock,  Francestown, and Pierce (Bennington) Elementary Schools. I grew up in Rhode Island; however, I have lived in New Hampshire since graduating with my undergraduate degree. I received my undergraduate degree in English from the University of New Hampshire. Following my graduation, I began working within higher education at UNH while I pursued my Master’s in Educational Studies. While working in higher education, I realized I missed engaging books and promoting literacy. This realization led me to the Library Media Studies program at Plymouth State University where I completed my certification. Through my studies, I have found my true passion lies in literacy promotion and the preparation of students for a digital world. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, crafting, and of course reading.

On each page you will find links to various sites we use as well as pictures of things we are doing in the library as the school year progresses. I will also post library news and resources on the individual school pages. You will also find a page labeled Teacher Tech. This page has digital resources for teachers (some resources may also be of interest to parents).
