To start off, a little background about me, Mr. Shultz. I am lucky enough to have lived in many places like Toledo and Cincinnati, Ohio and York, Maine. I now call the Monadnock Region my home, and have recently purchased a home in Jaffrey with my wife Courtney.
I am a lover of Winter, and an avid skier. I joined the ranks of the National Ski Patrol at the age of 15, which I am still a part of, and am and active member of the Crotched Mountain Ski Patrol during the ski season. I hope to see many of you at the mountain this season. I really enjoy being outdoors, and love to camp, fish, and spend time in the beauty that surrounds us in this corner of New Hampshire I call home.
I graduated college from the University of Toledo, in Toledo, Ohio, and earned my K-12 Arts Education Degree in 2013. While in college, I studied many different forms of Art, but fell in love with the sculpture process, using a variety of tools and media, ranging from wood to steal to stone, to create my work. I hope to have a wood shop at my new house!
Oh...and I LOVE teaching and creating Art with all of my students, and find inspiration with them on a daily basis. Creating and exploring the world of Art is a very important part of who I am, as well as what we do in the Art Room each week.
And if you should need to get a hold of me with questions, concerns, or even possible art advice, do not hesitate to contact me via the school phone number or my ConVal Email address, ashultz@conval.edu
