I was thrilled to join the Peterborough Elementary School staff as a third grade teacher in 2017! I have led quite an interesting life so far and am excited about sharing my experiences with all of my new students. I was born and raised in Manchester, NH. I spent 10 years working in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields after earning a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of New Hampshire. I completed my Masters in Elementary Education degree in 1999 at UNH and taught third grade in Amherst, NH for 2 years. I relocated to coastal Virginia in 2001, where I taught fourth and fifth grades. I was promoted to a Science Coach position in 2005 and then moved into the Elementary Science Curriculum Supervisor position the next year. I earned my Education Specialist degree from George Washington University in 2007. I embarked on a great southwestern adventure when I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2015 where I taught fifth grade and then kindergarten. As neat as the sights and sounds were in Vegas, there's just no place like home in New Hampshire.

My husband, Scott, and I have happily settled in Bennington, NH. I have one grown son named Dan. He is becoming an adventurer as well. He recently relocated from southeastern Virginia to the beautiful state of Wyoming. In my spare time, I enjoy being out in nature so I can photograph animals and beautiful landscapes. Reading and writing are two of my favorite things to do. I enjoy music and play the piano whenever I have a chance. I love to cook and excel at making candy and fudge the old-fashioned way. I like to crochet and cross-stitch as well. I am currently trying hard to learn to knit. I am always asking questions and am eager to learn new things!
