How can I help in the classroom?

If you wish to volunteer, please let me know! We will have volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

What do I do when my child is sick?

When your child is sick, please enter the absence into Pick Up Patrol. Homework Record Sheets will always be available on our website, but you can e-mail or call me if you need a hard copy or if you need class work to do at home with your child.

What is the best time/way to contact you?

My e-mail address is jhastings@conval.edu. I check my e-mail a few times a day. I can also be reached by phone before school (7:30AM-8:20AM) or after school (3:25PM) on most days at 924-3828 x1623. Be sure to use the Pick Up Patrol site to notify the school of changes to your child's after school dismissal plans.

Can I send in a treat for my child's birthday?

Yes, you can, but ConVal School Board policy states that parents and school staff need to support healthy food choices for all parties at school. We ask that you try to incorporate low or no-sugar food items before selecting items to send in for parties. We will provide a healthy snack list for you at the beginning of the school year.
