Welcome to my website! This year I will be teaching Advanced Placement World History and Eastern World Heritage in the fall and spring.

Teaching philosophy: I feel that history is a vital piece to any student's development. My overall broad goal for students is to have them learn, appreciate, and apply history in the hopes for the student to have a better understanding of the world today. I intend my classes to be engaging and challenging. I have students take part in activities, discussions, simulations, and research to allow them to develop a better understanding of history and apply it to today's world.

About me: I have been teaching at ConVal for over twenty years. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2000 with a Bachelor of the Arts in History and in 2001 I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Masters in Education. At ConVal I am a co-advisor for the History Club and the Youth and Government program.
