Handwriting

• Print all uppercase and lowercase letters with appropriate size and spacing

• Print first name with uppercase letter first followed by all lowercase letters

Conventions

• Use uppercase letters at the beginnings of a sentence and proper nouns

• Use punctuation at the end of sentences

• Produce simple sentences

• Use conventional spelling for common spelling patterns and high-frequency that have been taught

• Spell untaught words phonetically using learned spelling patterns
