This year in social studies, we will learn about our town of Greenfield, Geography and Government. We will also learn about the past by discovering what happened on this day in history!
In November 3rd & 4th Grade will be hosting the GES Candy Election! We will use candy candidates to simulate a primary election for the Chocolate and Fruity Party followed by a general election.
This year in science we will focus on 3 major units from our Mystery Science Curriculum.

In the Stormy Skies unit, students investigate and make predictions about the weather through careful observation of the clouds and wind. Students also learn to differentiate between weather and climate and use models to reveal global climate patterns.
Where do clouds come from?
How can we predict when it's going to storm?
Why are some places always hot?
How can you keep a house from blowing away in a windstorm?
We will also tackle our first research project!
Students will choose a sever weather event and become an expert!
