Thank you for your interest in the Grizzly Invitational! 

Our meet will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 4800 Riley Fuzzel Rd. Spring, TX 77386. 

Materials.  We will use UIL Meet A materials. Spelling is provided by ASW and will be taken online this year.

Judging.  Academic coaches are expected to grade. We will hire judges for Ready Writing and Journalism, if necessary. If you cannot provide a journalism coach or qualified judge you will be charged a judging fee of $25/event up to $125. 

Hospitality.  Food will be provided for coaches, judges, chaperones and bus drivers. We will have a concession stand this year that will feature pizza as well as other snacks and beverages for purchase. 

Concession. We will have a concession stand open this year. They will have snacks, candy, drinks and pizza.

$50-Ready Writing Judging Fee

$25/Event- Journalism (If you do not provide a coach or qualified judge to help grade)

$20-Computer Science Team

In order to register, please complete the Google Form below. Linked in the form, you will find a spreadsheet copy link to list your student entries for the meet. Once you complete the form, please send it via email to Blair Davis: bladavis@conroeisd.net

Once recieved, we will generate your invoice. 

All student entry spreadsheets must be sent and finalized no later than Thursday, January 15, 2026. If you do not send your entries by this date, we will not be able to accommodate for your students.
