Instrument Rental Information

To rent an instrument not provided by the school, please go through one of these vendors.

Through years of experience, we know these vendors will give you good quality instruments for a fair price.

School Instrument Information

To rent a school-owned instrument, there is a mandatory rental fee of $80. For 6th-grade students, instruments will be assigned within the first two weeks of school. For 5th-grade students, assignments will take place after the first month. Once instruments have been assigned, a rental form will be sent home with each student receiving a school-owned instrument. 

The instruments the school provides are:

• French Horn

• Euphonium

• Tuba

If your student needs to rent a school-owned instrument that is not listed, please email klhill@conroeisd.net as soon as possible. These instruments are in limited supply and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to 6th-grade students who used a school-owned instrument last year.

If we run out of instruments, your child may be reassigned to a different instrument that is currently available.

School Instrument Fee Payment Info

 The instrument maintenance fee of $80 can be paid via School Cash Online or in cash. To pay online, please visit the Grangerland Intermediate website: https://grangerland.conroeisd.net/o/gis/page/school-webstore. 

Click the "School Cash Online" box at the bottom of the screen to register. Then, look for the payment titled "Instrument Maintenance Fee".

Payments being made in cash, the student must bring it during class and they will receive a receipt of the payment.
