We are learning all about letters V, X, long A, and long O and the sounds they make.

Students will continue to build on word solving skills as their text becomes more complex. We will also learn to think like their characters, feel like them, and even think about life lessons learned.
We are working on finishing up procedural writing and we will begin writing stories about small moments in our lives.
We are working on joining and separating, counting sets, producing numbers that are one more and one less, as well as comparing numbers and explaining our thinking.
We are learning about basic needs along with living and nonliving things.
In art, we will review the elements of art and creating fall themed art projects. Each grade will also be starting their Western art projects.
