We are so excited that you are considering band for your 5th grade fine arts selection.
Don't have any music experience? No worries! We will start from the very basics- no previous experience required! Please use the tools below to find out more information about our program, and how to be evaluated for an instrument.

So, how do you join band? 3 easy steps!
STEP 1:
Fill out the main Collins Intermediate School fine arts selection form. This lets the school know what fine arts class your student will be taking. This can be found HERE.
STEP 2:
Fill out our band instrument specific form. This is where you will put your child's first, second and third choice instrument. Be sure to check out our instrument information page to see and hear the different options. This form can be found HERE.
STEP 3:
Attend the in person instrument evaluation event on Thursday May 15th at Collins Intermediate from 5:00-7:00pm. It will be a first come first serve basis on instruments. We will have to have limits on the amount of students per instrument due to class sizes.
You will leave this event knowing what instrument your student will be playing next year at Collins.
***If your student is interested in trying out for percussion, you MUST attend the in person audition on May 12th at Collins Intermediate. Please sign up HERE.**
