Golden Girls Head Director
Ms. Van Dresar is a graduate of Caldwell High School, where she served as Lieutenant and First Lieutenant of the Honeybees Dance Team under the direction of Mrs. Kara Mantey. She trained for over ten years with Dream Dancers Studios under Mrs. Colleen Stapp. After high school, she selected as a member of the 75th Line of the world-renowned Kilgore College Rangerettes. With the Rangerettes, she performed internationally in Ireland and Scotland, as well as at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic and Walt Disney World. She went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Dance Education from Kilgore College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas A&M University. Ms. Van Dresar began her teaching career in Bryan ISD in 2020, working with both SFA Middle School and Rudder High School. From 2018 to 2024, she also served as Assistant Director of the Rudder High School RangeRettes Dance Team. Beyond the classroom, she is a veteran staff member of Danceline USA, a dance camp and competition company dedicated to developing young dancers across Texas. She also attends the Texas Dance Educators Association convention annually to continue refining her craft in dance education. Ms. Van Dresar is honored to continue the tradition of excellence with the Conroe High School Golden Girls.
Golden Girls Assistant Director & Goldies JV Director
Mrs. Britton started dancing at the age of three, and danced non-competitively until 6th grade when she joined Masters Upper-Level competitive team in Stafford, TX. In High school, she served as Co-captain and then Colonel for the Travis Belles Dance Team at William B. Travis High School in Richmond, TX. Mrs. Britton graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. While at Sam Houston, she was chosen to teach the historic Prime Time Line Dancers. After graduation, Mrs. Britton also helped open the MC Dance Studio in Huntsville, TX. Mrs. Britton was previously the Director of Dance at Creekside Park Junior High and Tomball Junior High in Tomball ISD before being named Assistant Director in 2021, and Goldies JV Director in 2023.
