Hi everyone! I’ve been an emergency physician in Everett for the past eight years, spending the last three primarily working overnight shifts at Providence. Every shift brings a front-row seat to both the strengths and the struggles of our community. It’s an honor to show up for people in crisis—no matter the reason.
There’s significant work to be done in how hospitals and emergency departments care for people who use drugs and alcohol. That’s where my passion lies, and why I’m excited to join the CONQUER team—to help reimagine how we support recovery and meet people where they are.
Personally, I’ve found a lot of insight and growth through Al-Anon, and I’m at my best when building something new. Outside of medicine, I spend my free time in the mountains, doing woodcraft and camp chores, or supporting my sons in their hobbies. My wife is a virologist at the University of Washington.
