Karl, originally from a horse farm in Snohomish, WA, is at the beginning of his counseling career as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he also met his soon-to-be wife, Roslyn.
Following his studies, Karl interned at the Kaeberlein Lab at the University of Washington, researching the pathology of aging. He later served as a project manager at his father’s psychiatric practice, further deepening his interest in mental health and recovery.
Outside of work, Karl enjoys playing guitar, diving into video games, and—most of all—hitting the golf course whenever he gets the chance.
