Hello, my name is Kozi and I am a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience. I spent the first part of my career providing direct patient care in a hospital setting as a medical, emergency, detox, and mental health nurse before gravitating towards management and outpatient nursing positions.
My journey into behavioral health was born out of a profound desire to decrease the stigma and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by mental health and/or addiction. It was this desire that prompted me to become certified in addiction medicine. I have spent the last decade as a nursing director working collaboratively with like-minded professionals to create innovative treatment protocols and procedures to address the needs of individuals battling behavioral health disorders for both outpatient and residential treatment programs.
My combined years of experience has taught me to approach anyone in crises with empathy and understanding, by recognizing the complex challenges inherent to each of us.

Hello, I'm Sarah, a Certified Peer Counselor. However, the birth of my son, at age 36, brought unimaginable love and purpose to my life, sparking my recovery.
With over four years of stability and progress, I'm now eager to give back and help others. I've rebuilt my life, finding community, repairing relationships, and discovering a career that gives me purpose. "I'm humbled to see such an amazing group of individuals performing such a needed service in our community. Watching CONQUER staff care so well for people whom many other will not care for is why I continue to show up and work hard to make an environment where workers can thrive and people can get the care they need, in the way they need it."
