Sheldon
I am grateful that I have been able to dig so deep into who Sheldon is and how he develops over the course of the show. This show is so full of meaning and depth that is has been wonderful getting to both take a step back and look at LGBTQ+ history as well as zoom in and consider how this history affects my character. Beyond that, I have loved getting to learn and grow as an actor throughout the process of the show surrounded by people that support and care about me!

Ensemble
I am very excited to be in the ensemble of The Prom! As an ensemble member, I have learned the value of supporting and working with my fellow company members to collectively fill and shape the story that unfolds in The Prom. I am very proud to be part of a production that encourages us all to love and embrace ourselves just as we are.

Mr. Hawkins
Ryan is thrilled to be bringing the role of Principle Hawkins to the stage alongside his beloved Prom castmates. During the production, Ryan has had the unique opportunity to look back at his own high school experience, and draw inspiration from the many wonderful role models he was fortunate enough to have been taught by over the years. Ryan would like to thank his fellow Prom castmates for being some truly fine human beings. He would also like to thank his family for their unending support. Enjoy the show!

Emma Nolan
Emma Nolan is such a strong person who, in the face of adversity and betrayal, stands up for herself and who she is. She is a beacon of hope to any queer child who feels ostracized by their community. I'm so excited to get to share her story and bring Emma to life. I hope that our show inspires people to be accepting of everyone, regardless of different backgrounds, because that is what will unite us as a community.

I am so excited and grateful to be apart of this team as a member of the ensemble. This collaborative process has brought out vulnerability and strength in every one who’s worked on it. I am happy to have learned so much from this experience and the people around me. This show is incredibly important to our world and I hope it shows the audience that people all deserve kindness and equality.

I'm so excited to finally share this show! We've done so much work behind the scenes discussing what this show means to us, and for me it is both fun and resistance. I hope when folks see this show is gives them hope of their own, and helps them think about what agency we do have when things spiral out of our control. I hope it inspires joy in what others might try to use to hurt us.

Dee Dee Allen
DeeDee is a passionate and eccentric person that is beginning to shed her hold narcissistic ways to embrace love and kindness. I’ve learned a lot about the importance of connecting with others and the power of a good laugh. I hope people find people who love every bit of them and will give up a 2.3 million dollar house for them… or at least think about it.

Nick
I am excited to take part in conveying an essential message of acceptance - acceptance of those who are different from you, those who challenge societal norms, and those who demand to be seen. In times of despair, there is always hope, through this production I feel as a contributor to healing, a restoration of damage and harm to vulnerable communities. The ultimate message that I am trying to deliver as a member of this show is the importance of reflection, love, and kindness.

Shelby
I have learned so much about the creative process through my experience as Shelby. Working with the cast and crew of the Prom has been nothing short of magical, and I’m so proud of the show that we’ve built. We have all worked so hard to make sure our audience feels the same joy, love, and acceptance we all feel towards each other and this story.

Being in the ensemble has been such a fun process. The cast and crew have been such a joy to work with. The care that has been put into performing this show in such an important moment in our society. I'm so happy to be apart of bringing this story to life.

Kaylee
Being part of The Prom was the best thing I could have done. I thank everyone in this production for allowing me to embark on this new adventure in my life and experience the theater world! Kaylee is the first character I have ever brought to life, and I love both her and her journey. I couldn't be happier or more proud!

I’m super excited to share with everyone this show because it’s incredibly fun and heartwarming. I’m in the ensemble, and I’ve so enjoyed playing around in multiple roles. I’ve learned a lot during this production about the importance and meaning of community. A message I hope to share with everyone is that love is love and we should all Love Thy Neighbor.

Trent Oliver
I am so excited to share my version of Trent in Conn’s production of "The Prom." In a world where change and struggle have become a daily occurance Trent’s use of humor and love to foster community has remained so resonant. That community has extended beyond the walls of this world the characters live in to establish the bond we've formed as a cast. I’ve been so beyond fortunate to have our discoveries within the show allow us to celebrate our shared experiences, which we CANNOT wait to share with you. To my wonderful friends, faculty, artists, and community: never doubt in love's power, and please never stop believing in its potential to bring us together.

Barry Glickman
I am so excited to bring Barry Glickman (a role I never dreamed I’d get to play) to life! It’s been wonderful exploring Barry’s theatricality as well as some of the quieter and more emotional moments he has. I can’t wait for everyone to feel the joy that this show and incredible cast radiate!
Finley Regan

Kevin
It’s been a lot of fun playing a character who is very different than I was in high school! Never did I imagine my process for a show would involve figuring out what position I played on the football team. I hope the audience enjoys this performance and its message of acceptance and hope!

Alyssa Greene
I am beyond grateful to be playing Alyssa Greene. Although my queer journey doesn't completely align with Alyssa's, I've relied on the obligation I feel to represent the stories of people who share similarities with her. Through joy and power, we've created a show that celebrates queerness and shows the value of community. Through the process, we've uplifted ourselves and each other's diversities, unique stories, and humanness. Remember that you are loved, important, and valid, no matter where you are in your journey.

Mrs. Greene
In our current political climate, it is more important than ever to find ways of understanding and connection with people who have different opinions and views of the world. For me, digging into Mrs. Greene’s psyche, and especially her relationship with her daughter, has been very eye-opening. While I don’t agree with her political views, I have grown to respect her love for Alyssa, and the struggles she deals with being a single parent. Although I am playing the “villain” of the story, I hope audiences are able to see more than just her bad decisions, and maybe even laugh at some of the ridiculous things she says.

I am excited to be a part of this musical, to share our message of queer joy. That pride and confidence in who you are is the most important thing. Throughout this production I have learned to be myself, and advocate for my needs, and that nobody should want you to be any less than 100% you.

The show is so much about community and i'm excited to bring alive parts of the community that sometimes gets overlooked. Being in the ensemble it has allowed me to step into the shoes of so many different perspectives i.e student, parent, reporter, ect… A message that I hope to share with this production is connection and to know that everyone should know they belong.

Angie Dickinson
Playing Angie has been an absolute dream come true. Though she begins the story as a member of a self-centered and ignorant group of people, her capacity to learn and grow is something I admire greatly. Angie’s assurance inspires me to be more confident, both onstage and in my day-to-day. I am honored to be a part of such an inspiring and important production, and I hope audiences connect with it in the same ways this lovely cast and crew has. I implore you all to carry some “zazz” into your lives!
