Parents/Guardians-
To be eligible for this pathway, please understand the guidelines set forth by the Texas Education Agency.
Students/Parents will be committing to this pathway for the six week grading period.
Reliable internet/Wifi or the means to provide consistent access to the internet.
Student must complete assignments each day.
Student attendance is monitored in the online platform. Students not completing assignments each day or logged in during the school day will be marked absent. PK-5 is 180 minutes online; 6th-12th grade is 240 minutes online
A device can be checked out from the school. Parents/students are responsible for any damages as described in the equipment use agreement.
Expectations for classroom and grading will follow the district policy for on-campus instruction. Courses taken at home will be included in calculating the GPA and class rank in accordance to local policy.
Some elective courses may have coursework that can only reasonably be completed in person. Some courses may require a student to obtain equipment from campus or possibly a schedule change if the course cannot be achieved online.
Students and parents are responsible in maintaining communication with the child's teacher through Canvas (grades 3-12) or SeeSaw (grades K-2) to create a learning partnership.
Conditions surrounding the COVID19 pandemic are continually evolving and this plan is subject to change based on federal, state, and local guidelines.
Students who were home schooled or attended a private school during the 2019-2020 school year only eligible for instruction under the face-to-face campus learning pathway.
A dedicated guardian/learning coach must be present to oversee the instruction during the school day.
This pathway is delivered through technology.
